PCA's 50th General Assembly: A Review

 

Alright, here's my deepish dive into the PCA General Assembly, using Ryan Biese's overly rosy (but helpful) summary of the events of the GA.

I even get into Zach Garris's/his church's proposed amendment to the BCO that would have removed the female teacher/Aimee Byrd issue, and Covenant College allowing women to lead chapel services, etc. But conservatives aren't conservative enough for that.

Hopefully by the end you will not see this as legalism and will see this as what it is- my attempt at describing what I believe is proper ecclesiology as defined by God in Scripture. So then, what is church? What does Scripture say we should be doing and not doing on Sunday mornings? That's what I want to explore.
